Our crowns are made with 100% high quality silicone which is typically tacky feeling but very flexible. However, we wanted to make our crowns extra special with kids in mind, so we made sure they had a silky soft texture for kids sensory sensitivities and to protect their skin and hair.

So when you get a brand new crown, there might be a break in period during which installing certain charms types will get easier with use. My best trick for a new crown is to warm up the charm hole area for a few seconds with a hair dryer and they should stretch more. Also you could use a pencil to gently stretch and get the holes ready for first time use.

There are many options for decoration of your Cutie Crown. The most common is to use the 3 holes on the front of the crown for shoe charms. All standard size shoe charms are compatible from generic bulk charms, brand name Croc® Jibbitz® and of course our flower and gold number charms. Also, you could go into your garden and pick real flowers to insert into the holes from daisies, lavender to leafy vines, you can create a whimsical fairy garden crown.

Lastly, there are a lot of possibilities with satin ribbon, tulle, even premade bows to decorate your Cutie Crowns™.

Our crown is designed with 5 different size adjustment settings ranging from 18 to 22 inches. This is the average head size range for children ages 2 to 10 years and up. The sizing is increased or decreased in 1 inch increments to find the perfect fit.

There is a button that can fit through any of the 5 size adjustments slots. Depending if you have it on the smallest or largest setting, you will have a small or large tail from the unused sizing band. Use our custom band to secure the loose tail.

Well this is the best part! Cutie Crowns™ are waterproof so they can be hand washed with normal soap and water or they are also top-rack dishwasher safe. We suggest wiping them dry with a lint free cloth to prevent water spots. Our crowns are designed to minimize lint attraction, but if any dust appears, a quick swipe with a lint roller will do the trick!
